The Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life has today launched a new initiative as part of the “Amoris Laetitia Family Year”, which is being celebrated at the invitation of Pope Francis.
After the Rosary for Engaged couples, the Rosary for Families, the social campaign #WalkingwithFamilies, the 10 Amoris Laetitia Videos with the Holy Father in dialogue with families from around the world, academic events and publications, today sees the release of a Decalogue for children with 10 tips for growing together – parents and children – in the family environment, putting into practice what Pope Francis says in the Apostolic Exhortation Amoris laetitia. 10 tips that parents and educators can give to the little ones to discover the importance of dialogue in the family, brotherhood, the value of self and others, the spirit of service.
The campaign is designed to help focus pastoral attention on the formation and education of the little ones in the family, to help parents not to give up in the face of so many problems that are now widespread in the pre-adolescent age, often also caused by the lack of dialogue with their children and a deep sense of loneliness of children, in which today can lurk dramatic experiences, such as, for example, cyberbullying.
The short and simple social media campaign will run from today Tuesday 16 November for 10 days, and will offer the 10 tips on the Instagram, Facebook and Twitter profiles of the Dicastery.
The whole set of cards can be found on the dedicated page #10fammilytips on www.amorislaetitia.va.
The hashtag chosen is #10familytips, always accompanied by #AmorisLaetitia and #YearoftheFamily.
