Saint Patrick’s College, Maynooth, is offering a new part-time course in Theological Studies. This one-year, evening/weekend, Level 8, 65 ECTS credits programme gives a foundation in Theological Studies to students who hold a primary degree in any other discipline.

The programme is especially tailored for those who are seeking:

An accredited introductory programme in Theology.
A gateway to a masters degree in Theology or Pastoral Ministry.
Teachers interested in a qualification that allows the teaching of Religious Education.
A structured way for any person wishing to have an informed position when looking at life’s big questions.

This new programme provides a blended learning experience, combining online modules with some on campus learning, giving participants the flexibility to fit in learning around their other life commitments.

The programme will cover topics such as: Systematic Theology, Christian Ethics, Scripture, Foundations of Worship, World Religions, History of Christianity, Philosophy of Religion & Secular Belief Systems.
