Cardinal Antonio Luis Gokim Tagle will deliver this year’s annual Trócaire and St. Patrick’s College Maynooth Lent lecture. Cardinal Tagle will address the online event on the evening of Tuesday 9 March on the theme ‘Caring for the human family and our common home’.

Cardinal Tagle has been the Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples since December 2019 and also served as the 32nd Archbishop of Manila. He is President of Caritas Internationalis and was promoted to the rank of cardinal-bishop in 2020.
