Eucharistic Procession 2023
This year the Eucharistic Procession will take place on Sunday 11th June departing the Cathedral of St. Mary and St. Anne to Ss. Peter and Paul’s Church at 3pm. This will be the 97th celebration of the Cork Eucharistic Procession as we look forward to its 100th anniversary in 2026. This is also the first Cork Eucharistic Procession to take place since 2019 due to the global pandemic.
In another change of format, we are also inviting as many people as possible to join the Procession from the Cathedral. You are invited to gather at the Cathedral of St Mary and St Anne at 2.30pm to walk in procession to Ss Peter and Paul’s Church where Bishop Fintan will preach the homily and conclude with the celebration of Benediction. Alternatively, people can go directly to Ss Peter and Paul’s where the celebration will be streamed and broadcast inside the Church and outside on large screens or join the Procession at any point along the route.
