This week saw the launch of a new book on the vast history of Saint Patrick’s College Maynooth. The college celebrates its 225th anniversary in 2020 and this book captures a multi-dimensional perspective of an institution that has held a singular place in modern Irish church history. We Remember Maynooth: A College Across Four Centuries, edited by Professor Salvador Ryan and Father JP Sheridan is a collection of essays that paints a rounded picture of a unique college that has seen popes and kings pass through its halls.

With contributions by current and former faculty and alumni, including Archbishop Eamon Martin, Mary O’Rourke, Frank McGuinness, Susan McKenna-Lawlor and Liam Lawton among many others, this will be a truly special read for anyone who has spent time at Saint Patrick’s College, Maynooth.
